I am a qualified and experienced Integrative counsellor willing to help you explore any problems you are facing in your life. I offer a supportive, safe and confidential setting in which I can help you to gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships, and to develop the skills to take control of your life.
I work with people individually, face-to- face, over long or short-term periods, taking each person’s needs and circumstances into consideration.
I previously worked as a Fertility Counsellor at a Harley Street Clinic. I supported heterosexual couples, same sex couples, and single women on their journey to start a family. This is often with the use of donor egg or sperm.
I previously volunteered as a counsellor for a charity that supports adults who have experienced child sexual abuse and a charity that offers support to women and men who have difficulties with pregnancy, pregnancy loss and related issues.
I also volunteered for a Bereavement agency called CCIWBS (Camden, City, Islington and Westminster Bereavement Service) for two years. Here, I supported people who had experienced loss. This could be in many different circumstances – the loss of a child, partner, lover, parent, friend, relation or colleague. We all experience loss at some time and grieving is a natural process.
I am a registered member of the BACP –British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. It ensures that all its members are appropriately trained and qualified. I work within the strict guidelines of the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice.
I have appropriate levels of Professional Indemnity Insurance and continue to pursue my own personal development.
